Teacher charged with committing unnatural acts with students

 

KNA   A teacher at Ololulunga Boys’ Secondary School in Narok South Sub-county was today arraigned before a Narok court charged with committing unnatural acts with two students.

 

The teacher, Mathews Janone Muteshi, was charged with defiling two boys and abuse of office, on diverse dates between 2016 and 2021, at the aforementioned school.

 

Appearing before Narok Chief Magistrate, George Wakahiu, Muteshi pleaded not guilty and the court ordered he remain in police custody, pending the ruling on his bail application tomorrow.

 

Police officers arrested the teacher on June 30, 2021 in Nakuru County after he fled from his workstation on 15th, June when the matter was reported to Ololulunga Police Station.  He has been in custody since then as police officers probed the offenses.

 

Muteshi was posted in the said school in January 2013.
