Outgoing Kajiado North MP Kibathi lauds the incoming

The outgoing Kajiado North Member of Parliament Paul Kibathi has conceded defeat and congratulated the new MP-elect Onesmus Ngogoyo for clinching the seat.

Kibathi termed Ngogoyo a gentleman who he will personally support for the next 5years as MP.

“The will of the people will always prevail and it must be respected and supported,” said Kibathi in his statement.

He also took the opportunity to thank God, his family, friends and all those who believed in his leadership.

“We tried our level best but the people of Kajiado north have decided and so we live to fight another day. I urge all my supporters to accept the outcome and maintain peace. Kajiado North is greater than Kibathi,” he said.

He assured the people of Kajiado North of his availability in case they need his help, promising to always remain there for my people.

“Politics will always come and go but you and I will remain friends. Once again Congratulations MP-elect Hon Ngogoyo,” he said.

Nominated MCA Onesmus Ngogoyo now the Kajiado North MP-elect is a creation of onetime Kajiado North legislator Joseph Manje, with whom he has since parted ways.

The two have had frosty political relations after the emergence of the Tangatanga wing of the Jubilee party sometime last year.

Manje is still clinging on to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s tailcoat and the Jubilee Party, which has fallen out with Deputy President William Ruto.

Ngogoyo, who has been representing the face of the youth in the vote-rich Kajiado North constituency, is a close ally of DP Ruto and a UDA marksman.

Former Olkeri Ward rep and nominated MCA Onesmus Ngogoyo was the first to face the wrath of Governor Joseph ole Lenku.

Ngogoyo, a fiery politician who has for almost a year given Governor Joseph ole Lenku a run for his money at the County Assembly, has attracted a big following among the youth.
